Where did people give the idea that Shadow was living with Rouge in Sonic Heroes and Sonic Battle?
It seems like this information comes from people who never played these video games through, but depend on what's given from the internet through un-official websites...>w>;;;
From what I played and know, Team Dark split up after Sonic Heroes and Shadow went wandering on his own for weeks to find out about his "past" [which is how we ended up at Shadow the Hedgehog with him standing on the hill like a ninny], and in that game, Eggman outright says Shadow was found "unconscious" by one of Eggman's robots right after he fell from ARK, and he was taken to the lab to be duplicated into clones, which is how we ended up with Sonic Heroes.
Sonic Battle was scrapped as un-canon, so Sonic Heroes was like a do over, and none of its events are in canon with Sonic Adventure 2 OR Sonic Heroes because SEGA's just....URGH
But in Sonic Battle anyway, he only stayed in Club Rouge to recover from the "fall" and needed that rest/stabilization for recovery and left afterwards, not at all living with her [which is why I don't get why people thought he lived with her ]
Can we really see Shadow staying there anyway if he has no purpose of being there? His only purpose was to recover. They definitely don't seem like they need homes---Sonic sleeps under trees and whatnot all the time in the games, and we always see Shadow doing his own loner thing.
...But since this game is scrapped ---It wouldn't make sense, because Shadow doesn't remember anything in Sonic Heroes, so if Sonic Battle happened, he didn't remember it anyway.
Oy, so these show up as occasional plotholes in Shadow/Rouge interaction---considerably the actual shipping fandom.
